For over three decades since its establishment in 1978, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s London office has advised the Firm’s clients on a broad range of cross-border merger and acquisition, banking and capital markets transactions throughout Europe. Specialists in competition, real estate, arbitration, litigation, intellectual property and tax augment the office’s core corporate and banking teams. First year associates presently earn a salary of $160,000. In recent years, all associates in good standing have also received a bonus at year end. Furthermore the Firm will advance up to $9,000 of your annual salary when you first join as an associate.
