Linklaters offers vacation schemes for penultimate year students at UK universities (law and non-law), which take place over the Summer. We also offer first year law undergraduates structured work experience through a two-day insight programme called Pathfinder. All applications begin with an online application form.
Linklaters recruits a diverse mix of the most talented graduates from a wide range of universities and backgrounds. The training contract is structured around four six-month seats, designed to build your knowledge, experience and contacts in a broad range of practice areas and to equip you for your long-term career. As part of your training contract you will have the opportunity to be seconded to one the firm’s international offices or to the offices of one of our clients, giving you first hand experience of our work as a truly global law firm.
We recruit around 110 trainees each year. The current starting salary is £39,500.

Linklaters provide funding for both the GDL and the LPC and provide a maintenance grant of £7,000 to help you with living expenses in London - £6,000 if you are completing your GDL outside London.
Linklaters pay at the top of the market with trainees starting on £39,000. On qualification, salary currently rises to £61,500. Subsequent salary reviews occur annually; your earning power will reflect your performance and growing contribution to the firm.
You are entitled to 25 days' annual holiday, as well as bank holidays.
Linklaters has its own gym, beauty salon and physiotherapist on-site.
